Master Photographer

Blake DeBock

Blake DeBock is a fine art photographer whose work is forged in the field. Known for large-scale, limited edition landscapes and wildlife, his images are captured through patience, physical commitment, and an obsession with being present when the story is the greatest and conditions are at their most extreme.

Raised in the California and shaped by years spent living out of trucks, tents, and remote camps, Blake’s work reflects a deep respect for wild places and the animals that inhabit them. He photographs what he lives — mountains, horses, predators, and weather — with a perspective earned through experience.

Collected worldwide and featured in luxury homes, resorts, and private collections, Blake represents his work exclusively through his own galleries in California. His fine art photography has generated over $2 million in sales to date, with key limited editions selling through shortly after release.

The Artist

Blake DeBock grew up backpacking and skiing in the Sierra Nevada, developing an early connection to wild, mountainous terrain. He photographs the wild from within, often working alone in harsh conditions, waiting for rare moments when light and landscape align perfectly.

A natural horseman, Blake has always been drawn to horses and the freedom they represent. On his ranch in the Eastern Sierra, he rides and trains mustangs adopted from the American West, often bringing them into the mountains. This connection shapes how he approaches wildlife photography, with an instinctive understanding of behavior, distance, and trust, and an ability to earn presence with his subjects in the wild.

Blake shares his life and work with his wife, Alejandra, whose steady presence provides balance amid a life shaped by travel, risk, and time spent far from comfort.

His images focus on rare moments and disappearing wild places, shaped by patience, intuition, and a commitment to artistry. Each final print reflects a deep dedication to craft and a connection to his subjects earned through lived experience.
